Lincoln University welcomes students with disability to participate fully in all aspects of university life. Our goal is to ensure that campus community members that self-identify are provided with equal access to university programs, activities and services.
Our mission is to promote awareness and foster an environment of inclusion and accessibility by providing reasonable accommodations to those with a diagnosed disability whether temporary or permanent.
Our policies and procedures have been developed to comply with relevant governmental statutes and regulations including those pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (amended in 2008), Title IX of the Federal Education Amendments of 1972 and Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
The Accessibility Services Program provides assistance and support to those who have been diagnosed as having a permanent or temporary disability. Disabilities covered under the program include, but are not limited to:
